Assistive Technologies
The assistive technology field is being pursued by the Sensory Tools division. Its award-winning
products include automatic reading machines, Braille computers, Braille transcription software, and other assistive
devices specifically developed for blind and vision-impaired people. Robotron is credited with several world's firsts in this field,
such as the world's first personal computer for the blind.
Navigational and Electromagnetic Sensors
Consumer and industrial applications in interdisciplinary scientific fields, in particular in navigational and various field sensing applications are the focus of our Geosensory division.
These products are aimed at consumer, OEM, security and robotics markets. Geosensory digital compass modules are in particular popular in the Japanese hobby robotic industry,
as well as other consumer and industrial applications.
